Amy E. Treece, MD, earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed her residency in internal medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She then received additional training, completing a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Duke University Medical Center.
Pulmonologists are specialized physicians who diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the respiratory tract. As a respiratory specialist, Dr. Treece may diagnose and treat pulmonary disorders such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, lung disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema and bronchitis, among a host of others.
