Dr. Brandy Boutin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at The Children?s Hospital at Sacred Heart. As a resident, Dr. Boutin was awarded the Outstanding First-Year Resident Award, the Resident Education Award, the Outstanding Senior Resident Award and the Sister Carol Keehan Award, which is given by the Sacred Heart nursing staff for collaboration with the entire healthcare team.Dr. Boutin is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Sacred Heart Medical Group, Dr. Boutin practiced at Breeze Pediatrics in Gulf Breeze.Dr. Boutin has a special passion for newborn care and parent education, as well as adolescent care.In her spare time, Dr. Boutin enjoys watersports and spending time with her husband and daughter.In 2016, Dr. Boutin was recognized by Professional Research Consultants (PRC) as a ?Five Star? healthcare provider who scored in the top 10% nationally on patient surveys where patients were asked to rate the care they received. She also received PRC?s Top Performer Award because 100 percent of her patients rated her excellent.Awards are based on how often patients gave their physician or provider a rating of excellent on the PRC survey question.
