After earning his medical degree from Des Moines University Medical School, Dr. Folkers completed General Surgery Residency at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Dr. Folkers is now a double board certified plastic surgeon and was recently inducted into the Fellowship of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. With numerous publications and research projects, Dr. Folkers is on the cutting edge of medicine allowing him to provide the best possible results and care for his patients. He also has a variety of experience in Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgery ranging from finger replantation to breast augmentation. Dr. Folkers is dedicated to helping his patients reach their goal.
