Dorothy P. Parsley, MD graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee where she also earned her medical degree. She went on to complete her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Parsley provides all aspects of women’s health care, from well woman checkups and the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic problems to the thrill of supporting women through pregnancy and childbirth. Dr. Parsley is on the cutting edge of medicine with her interest in robotic surgery, a rapidly developing specialty in gynecologic surgery. Robot-assisted surgery is currently used to treat diverse conditions such as endometriosis, to remove fibroids, or perform hysterectomies. Dr. Parsley lives in Norfolk with her husband and their rescue dog, Zeus. She’s an avid runner who also enjoys baking, reading, and visiting her family in Nashville, Tennessee.
