Dr. Carpenter received her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1983. She completed her internship in the Pediatrics department of the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in 1984 and her residency from there in 1986. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
