Bio
Dr. Michaela Overturf is a graduate of The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She did her Internship at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas and is currently completing her Dermatology Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she is serving as Chief Resident in Dermatology.
Dr. Overturf received the Thomas B. Freese Award for Overall Excellence in Dermatology as a medical student. She has published in numerous peer reviewed dermatology journals and presented at state and national dermatology meetings. She looks forward to providing comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology for all age groups including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer as well as cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Overturf looks forward to making Nacogdoches her permanent home, along with her husband, Dr. Steven Overturf, and their family.
