Dr. Fiala has over 20 years of experience specializing exclusively in cosmetic plastic surgery.  He is Board-certified in Plastic Surgery by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

In addition to being a voluntary member of faculty at the UCF College of Medicine, Dr. Fiala is active in both the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.  He is the Past-President of the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is the Vice-Chair of the Cosmetic Section, In-Service Exam Committee.

He is highly-regarded throughout Central Florida for his expertise in cosmetic surgery of the breast and body, such as breast augmentation, lift and reduction procedures, tummy tucks and mommy makeovers, liposuction and body contouring.

Dr. Fiala has an interest in innovations that improve patient safety and patient comfort after surgery.  He has done significant work on the use of the ultrasound-guided TAP block, a nerve block used to improve patient comfort after abdominoplasty and abdominal liposuction.  This is now recognized as a "best practice" in several national plastic surgery publications.

He has been voted "Best Plastic Surgeon in Orlando" by the readers of Orlando Magazine five times in the past six years, is a member of the realself.com "Hall of Fame", and has been given several "Patients' Choice" Awards from Vitals.com
