Dr. Thomas Ortel graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1985 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC from 1985 to 1988. He then completed a fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at Duke University Medical Center from 1988 to 1991.
